The Fine Art course reflects and supports the diversity of contemporary art practice including Painting, Video, Photography, Sculpture, Drawing, Performance, Printmaking, Time-based work, Ceramics, and studies in History and Theory. You are taught the practical, philosophical, contextual and professional aspects of art practice through blended learning in studios and online.

Studio Practice centres on your development of an art practice. You work in studios under tutorial guidance. Individual tutorials give focused advice and studio critiques encourage the exchange of ideas and the development of critical understanding. Studio spaces are located adjacent to relevant workshops. Workshops include painting methods, printmaking, wood and metal, moulding and casting, audio-visual and video, photography and plastics. Studio practice includes artwork made in sites, public space, online, through social interaction, as installation, alongside more familiar aesthetic forms.

This three-year course is designed to produce nursing graduates who will have the skills to respond to the changing needs of adults who require nursing care within a variety of rapidly changing healthcare environments.

Successful students will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and the National and Midwifery Board Ireland. This will permit successful students to practice as a Registered Nurse (Adult) in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

The MPharm programme is designed to provide academically challenging and vocationally relevant pharmacy education and training underpinned by appropriate science elements (pharmaceutical sciences) and appropriate professional practice skills (pharmacy practice, clinical skills, and patient care).

The MPharm programme is an integrated Masters degree in Pharmacy that meets the standards of the University and the requirements of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland (PSNI).

The MPharm programme will provide students with the knowledge, understanding, skills and appropriate training required for them to be responsible for the manufacture, safe, legal and professional control, distribution and use of medicinal products. The programme is underpinned by appropriate science elements (pharmaceutical sciences) and appropriate professional practice skills (pharmacy practice, clinical skills, and patient care).

This programme also incorporates detailed studies of all aspects of drug action, design, formulation and use.

BSc Hons Psychology explores how we engage with the world we inhabit. Why do you sleep? Why do people fight? How do we learn? How can we treat mental illness, or care for those in despair? There are many ways to approach such questions, and to this end we provide a comprehensive programme on the major areas of psychology.

Accredited against the requirements for the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the British Psychological Society (BPS), this programme is available three years full-time, or four years full-time with optional one year placement.

BSc Hons Sport and Exercise Sciences explores how the human body and mind respond to physical activity, combining subjects like physiology, psychology, biomechanics, nutrition, and anatomy. You'll learn how to enhance sports performance, promote physical fitness, and understand how behaviour and lifestyle impact health. This degree is ideal for anyone interested in how science can be used to improve physical performance and support people in leading healthier, more active lives.

The BA Hons in Architecture is a studio-based, full-time course delivered over three academic years. There is an exit qualification of an Associated Bachelors (AB) after successful completion of two academic years, with a further one academic year for BA Hons completion.

The course is validated by the Royal Institute of British Architects and is prescribed by the Architects Registration Board. Successful completion of the course (BA Hons) offers exception from RIBA Part 1 examinations.
