BA Business Management is a flexible programme which allows you to experience a wide range of management functions and provides you with a thorough grounding in a range of business subjects.

It is an exciting time to join us, our Business, Management and Marketing programmes are ranked 14th from 118 providers (up 10 places from last year), for Times Good University Guide 2025. We are ranked 18th (up from 29th last year) for our Business and Management programmes, for Guardian University Guide 2025 and we outperformed the sector in 6/7 question themes for NSS 2024.

Introduction

Taught by academic staff with industry experience in a variety of business sectors, from your first year of study you will be introduced to the problems and challenges of the business world and will be equipped with the knowledge to solve them. By the final year of your programme, you will have the skills, business awareness and confidence to succeed in the wider business world with the opportunity to specialise in areas such as marketing, football, finance and events management.

From year one, we encourage our students to work as part of a team with peers on their course and give opportunity to work with real businesses, gaining a global perspective through a vibrant international learning community, as you are exposed to business ideas and cultures from the UK and beyond.

Study Biological Sciences at Liverpool to focus on the study of living things and understand how they respond to each other and the world around them.

Introduction

In this first year, you’ll gain an understanding of core concepts of biology as well as the fundamental principles of immunity, infection, and therapy. You will also study how organisms develop and function and learn about ecology and the global environment. You will develop practical skills and participate in field studies, and you will discover how to utilise quantitative skills and study techniques.

Our course is designed to create practical, compassionate and resilient veterinary surgeons and to equip our graduates with the skills and qualities required to practice in the 21st century.

Introduction

The Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) programme offers world-leading scientific and clinical training in veterinary medicine. The BVSc is internationally accredited and on graduation, you will be qualified to practise as a veterinary surgeon in the UK (RCVS), Ireland and Europe (EAEVE), Australia and New Zealand (AVBC), South Africa (SAVC), North America (AVMA) and many other countries around the world.

Our students get to enjoy a vibrant university experience for the first three years of the course, based at the central Liverpool campus. Years 4 and 5 are based at our Leahurst site, on the stunning Wirral, with North Wales on your doorstep.

Liverpool vet school offers in-depth clinical and research-based training and a hugely motivated, dedicated teaching staff. The university provides all of its own teaching across all five years of the course, using our two farms (covering beef and dairy cattle, pigs and sheep), our own teaching horses and our own teaching clinics. Across these sites our students have access to over 10,000 small animal cases a year, and over 5,000 equine and large animal cases.

From the underlying principles to the very edge of modern technology, this programme will cover all aspects of Computer Science and ensure that when you graduate you will know exactly what is and isn't possible with computers.

Introduction

Study Computer Science at Liverpool and develop a deep understanding of the technology that underpins much of modern life and society. Computer Science is a great choice for those with a keen interest in computers, software and technology. You’ll create functional applications as well as how to consistently iterate and improve your work.

Computer Science is a broad area covering many topics. During the first year of this course, we provide you with a strong foundation on the core elements of a Computer Science degree. This includes programming, computer systems, data structures, algorithms, and an introduction to artificial intelligence.

After learning core theory in year one, you can choose to maintain a balanced mixture of modules throughout your degree and graduate with the degree title Computer Science BSc (Hons). Or you can opt to develop specialist knowledge and graduate with an alternative degree title, in selected areas of computer science by choosing one of the following pathways:

You will have the opportunity to learn from internationally recognised scholars and to hear about their cutting-edge research examining a wide range of aspects of international relations. You will explore political ideas, systems and processes, learn to question and to challenge, how to collect data, develop knowledge, construct arguments and communicate your findings in different ways.
