Fascinated by data? Interested in what’s going on in the world around you? This degree combines economics, statistics, and mathematics to prepare you for roles where you’ll apply quantitative techniques to real-world challenges. The programme is jointly delivered by the School of Economics and Finance and the School of Mathematical Science, so you’ll learn from experts across both fields.

Queen Mary University of London is proud to offer a five-year Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) programme taught on the Mediterranean islands of Malta. The programme has been designed to provide students with the medical knowledge, clinical skills and professional attitudes required to become a competent Foundation Year (FY1) Doctor.

Queen Mary’s long-established Law LLB is your first major step to becoming a barrister, solicitor or for exploring many different legal practice (and other) career paths. For those wishing to pursue a career path towards legal practice, this renowned degree gives you a strong foundation for the future with its strong focus on analysis, problem solving, attention to detail, argument and communication. It’s an excellent option for students pursuing a legal career or with a general interest in law.

Explore theory and modern political thought to analyse the issues that dominate the news and your social media feeds. You'll explore government, political thought, and empirical and theoretical approaches to international relations. You can even immerse yourself in the world of politics by studying abroad, completing work placements and taking part in simulation activities.

Fascinated by the world of medicine? Study biomedical engineering to help healthcare evolve, answer big questions about the human body and its functions and make a difference to people around the world. Digital health, data science, biomaterials, clinical engineering, biomedical devices, tissue engineering… these are just a few of the areas you’ll examine. All of our modules are built with your employability in mind, to reflect the global challenges you’ll face as a future biomedical engineer.
