This BPS-accredited course is your first step towards a career in professional psychology practice. Biomedical science involves the study of human biology, health and disease.

This course explores key clinical laboratory specialities such as medical microbiology, clinical biochemistry, pathology, and haematology and transfusion science.

You will have the opportunity to study current and emerging techniques used in the diagnosis and treatment of disease aligned to key specialisms, including clinical genetics, biochemistry, haematology and transfusion science.

During the course, you will focus on key clinical specialisms within biomedical science, developing your understanding of disease and diagnostic processes, as well as providing insight into the role of a biomedical scientist.

Undergraduate

Students who hold a High School Diploma with a minimum overall average of 3.0 SAT 550 in each band or ACT 25 in each band.

Students who have 2 Advanced Placement (AP) with a minimum score of 3.0.

Students who have passed an associate degree of 3 years or 2/3 years of university in related subject area.
